Chinese Herbs Linked to Reduced Incidence of Hot Flashes

Researchers in Hong Kong suggest that taking Chinese herbs could reduce hot flashes among post-menopausal women by as much as 62 percent. According to the study, conducted by researchers at University of Hong Kong, taking herbal mix called Er-xian decoction (EXD) reduced the daily symptoms of hot flashes by 62 percent compared to taking a placebo, which reduced the hot flashes by 52 percent.
