Unemployed and Jobless People are Addicted to Smoking

Nearly 40 percent of jobless people are addicted to smoking, a new study revealed. Young people, who are jobless, are likelier to smoke, with more than 50 percent of unemployed 25- to 34-year-olds craving the nicotine drag, Metro.co.uk reported. The Office for National Statistics found that the number of Britons, who smoke, has barely changed since 2007, when smoking was banned and the legal age for buying cigarettes rose to 18.
