Lack of Vitamin D Exposure Interferes With Breast Cancer Treatment During Winter

Researchers at Lawson Health Research Institute suggest that lack of exposure to vitamin D during the winter months could be interfering with the body's ability to metabolize tamoxifen in patients with a form of breast cancer known as estrogen receptor positive (ER+).
