Bayer says to acquire U.S. vitamin maker Schiff

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Germany's largest drugmaker Bayer said it agreed with Schiff Nutrition International to take over the U.S. vitamins and nutritional supplements maker for $1.2 billion.
