EMA to Investigate If Morning After Pill Works in Overweight Women

A couple of months after French pharmaceutical company HRA Pharma revealed that it will be adding labels on its emergency contraceptive pills warning that they were less effective in overweight women, the European Medicines Agency confirmed that it will be conducting an investigation to check whether they really work in overweight women. The move comes after HRA Pharma revealed that studies have shown its drug, Norlevo, to be less effective in overweight women. ...
