Nepal: First Hospital for Wild Animals

Nepal is planning for its first hospital for wild animals, say sources. The hospital is coming up in Sauraha village in Nepal's Chitwan district. It will be built at the Chitwan National Park, a World Heritage reserve that protects over 932 sq. km of forests, marshland and rippling grassland and wildlife, Xinhua reported citing the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) officials.
