World's First Partial Lung Transplant

Three-year old Japanese boy gets part of a lung from his mother, this is the world's first successful graft of a middle lobe from a living donor, say sources. Lung transplants from living donors usually involve transferring the inferior lobe which has greater breathing capacity.
