Influenza B Cancels School for Independence, Mo., School District

The Independence (Mo.) School District shut it doors one day early for the winter holidays because a large population of the district's teachers and students had the flu and flu-like symptoms. The cancellation comes one day after Independence schools were closed due to inclement weather from the season's first winter storm.
