Heart disease risk highest in winter

Researchers have discovered that the risk of heart disease is highest during the winter months but lowest in summer, according to a study from the European Society of Cardiology. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US, causing an average of 193.6 deaths per every 100,000 people, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
