While Deaths Declined Hospital Infections in Cancer Patients Have Climbed: Study

Henry Ford Hospital researchers have found that while infections during hospital stays increased during a 10-year period, the death rate from those infections dropped. The findings were from a nationwide study of patients undergoing surgery for cancer.
